An export rule defines what, where and when has to be exported. "What" means which audiences and what type of data (full or delta), "where" means the destination platform and route, and "when" is defined by export schedule.
You have to configure export routes for the destination platform prior to creating an export rule.
To access rules, open Rules tab on Destinations page. Here you can create, edit, and delete export rules, as well as view the list and stats of existing rules.
Create Export Rule
To create an export rule, click Create Rule in Rules tab. Enter rule settings in the rule creation window (see descriptions of rule properties below) and save the configuration.
Enter a name for the rule
Destination Route Settings
Here you enter settings for the destination platform and account.
A platform to which you want to export the data. Select from available integrations.
Account on destination platform to which you want to address the data.
A list is adjusted to the destination platform selected in the previous step and contains only routes created for that platform. How to set up destination routes, see <link:Create Export Route>,
Note. Pricing settings are available for Google DDP only. Pricing section will appear in the rule page when Google DDP is selected in Destination Name.
Pricing defines the price that will be set for exported data in destination platform.
Select if you want the price in destination platfomr to be the same as set in Audience Base.
Set the price other than in Audience Base.
Enter a number by which a price set in Audience Base will be multiplied.
Here you set up the frequency of data export. Currently, only No End Date option is available. This means that data will be exported according to the rule every day as long as the rule exists. To stop data export, you will have to delete the rule.
Sync type is the type of data export. Two options are available:
All UID's on every export are synced.
Only new and removed UID's (i.e. differences) are synced. This type of syncing exports all data on the first export and only data differences on subsequent reports.
Here you select the audiences for export. Two options are available:
To add individual audiences, click Add Audience.
A side window will open, listing all audiences in the account. Select the required audiences and click Save.
To add all audiences of the account, click Sync All.
You can afterwards adjust the selection by removing individual audiences. To remove all added audiences altogether, click Clear Selection.
Data export by each rule has its starting and ending moments and frequency.
Start First data export is initiated at the moment you create the rule. Frequency Data export is performed one time per day. Export is repeated every day as long as the rule exists. End To stop data export, you have to delete the export rule.
