In the Audience tab, you can view and manage audiences and categories.


In the Audience tab, you can create new audiences, edit and delete existing ones.

Audiences created in your account are displayed in the Audience grid. Grid tools allow you to add/remove columns to the grid to view only the required information, add/remove filters, search the grid, and export grid data.


You can view the Category tree, create new categories, edit and delete existing ones.




Data available in the Audience grid:

Attribute Description Values & Limitations

Status of an audience

Active or Inactive.

Audience Name / Owner ID

Audience name / Unique audience ID defined by the owner.

Audience name must be between 1 and 200 characters.

Owner ID must be between 1 and 200 characters, it should contain only allowed symbols: a-z, A-Z, 0-9, dot, underscore, dash. It is case-sensitive. Owner ID should be unique for data provider. It cannot be edited after audience creation.

Audience ID Audience ID assigned by the platform. Audience ID is assigned automatically and cannot be changed.
Audience Category

Audience category path set by the owner.

Up to 5 levels of categories are available.
Up to 1000 categories in total.
Category name should be unique per one level.
Category name must be between 1 and 200 characters.
Category can't be deleted if the category itself, or one of its subcategories, contain audiences.
Audience Builder Sources

Data sources used to build this specific audience.

Available sources: campaign data, cross device (vendor), lookalike (vendor), tracking data, my existing audiences or 3rd party audience marketplace.
UID's Sources The list of all sources from which the ID's were uploaded.

Available sources:

  • Original sources: Audience Builder, Direct Pixel, IP segmentation, Manual upload, S2S upload, S2S API
  • Audience extensions: Lookalike, Cross Device
  • Third party data
CPM Price

Fee set by the owner for selling the audience  data to 2nd and 3rd parties.

Price must be less than 10 000 000.
Currency Currency of the CPM price  

Number of days after which active unique ID's (UID's) should be removed from the adience.

Value must be greater than 0 and less or equal than 120.
UID's Frequency

The number of times a unique ID (UID) should have been active in the audience sources before it is added to the audience.

Frequency is unlimited, but system records only a up to 255 frequency events in total.

Audience extention algorithms active in the audience builder.

Available extensions: Lookalike and Cross Device.

UID's Total

The total number of unique ID's (UID's) in the audience from all sources

Total number of UID's in the Audience is the sum of Original, Lookalike and Cross Device UID's.

UID's Audience Builder The amount of Unique ID's (UID's) added via the Audience Builder and the percentage from Total Unique ID's (UID's).  
UID's IP Segmentation The amount of Unique ID's (UID's) added via the IP Segmentation and the percentage from Total Unique ID's (UID's).  
UID's Direct Pixel The amount of Unique ID's (UID's) added via the Direct Pixel and the percentage from Total Unique ID's (UID's).  
UID's S2S The amount of Unique ID's (UID's) added via the Server-to-Server Upload and the percentage from Total Unique ID's (UID's).  
UID's Manual Upload The amount of Unique ID's (UID's) added via the Manual Upload and the percentage from Total Unique ID's (UID's).  
UID's S2S API The amount of Unique ID's (UID's) added via the Server-to-Server API and the percentage from Total Unique ID's (UID's).  
UID's Lookalike 

The number of unique ID's (UID's) added via the Lookalike extension and the percentage from Total Unique ID's (UID's).

Minimal audience pool to extend is 3000 UID's by default. There is a special option to extend small audience (e.g. from 500 UID's). Max. required audience UID's amount to extend is 1 000 000.

UID's Cross Device

The number of unique ID's (UID's) added via the Cross Device extension and the percentage from Total Unique ID's (UID's).

Available Cross Device providers: screen6, 360dialog.

Create Date

Date and time when the audience was created.



  • Copy Audience

    Once you've set up audiences, you can copy your settings and create other audiences.



    If you copy audiences, it means you are copying only Audience settings, not cookies.  

    Settings : 

    • Audience Name
    • Owner ID
    • Status
    • Price
    • Category
    • TTL
    • Extended
    • Frequency
    • Cross Device




    Owner ID should be unique for data provider.


  • Disable/Delete Audience

    You may disable or delete existing audiences. 

    Disabled audience does not send data to associated destinations and does not receive data, but inactive data is visible in the available reports. Disabled audience can be enabled. 



    A deleted audience cannot be undeleted and it is permanently removed from the audience list. Deleted audience does not send or receive data to/from associated destinations and it does not return data in the available reports. Delete might be applied for one audience or for multiple selected.




    Category can be deleted if it or its subcategories do not contain audiences.


  • Move Audience or Category

    In order to change parent Category, press edit as in shown in screenshot below.

    If you will select (root) in the dropwdown list, you will assign first level of a taxonomy category. 



    To change Audience category, press on Audience name and choose from Category dropdown list. 



  • Export Audiences
    1. To export audiences data, open an Export drop-down menu (1).


    2. Choose an export option:
    • Visible Data. 

      When this options is selected, only filtered grid data is exported. I.e., when a filter is set on the grid and a filtered list of audiences is displayed in the grid, only this visible data will be included in the export file.

    • All Data.

      When this option is selected, all data of the Audience grid is exported, regardless of the filters that are set on the grid.

    1. Choose a XLSX or CSV file for your export option.


    Category path and Currency are not included in any type of export file.


  • Taxonomy Import/Export

    In the Settings section you are able to import or/and export the Taxonomy as *.csv/.txt file.

    In order to prepare a pre-existing taxonomy for import, you must make sure that fields described above are filled up correctly, the categories have a unique OwnerID and combined categories correspond to a meaningful hierarchy. Taxonomy file to import should consist of RefId,Name,Ttl,Frequency,Fee,Status,Category separated by commas. Audience ID is assigned automatically during the import process. 

    Both categories and audiences can hold unique profiles. If entities are not fulfilled enough to have their own audience they might be aggregated in the parent or child category.

    By clicking the News icon, located in the right top corner of the page (Info Icon), you can find information about import of taxonomies. When taxonomy import is finished, you will see a message about the successful upload. 

    When clicking on the Export button, a *.csv file will be downloaded to your computer.

    If import of a taxonomy was not successful, you will see a list of errors. Note that up to 20 errors are processed!
